Ο δημοσιογράφος Νίκος Στέφος, με ανάρτησή του στο Facebook, αποκαλύπτει στοιχεία για το άμεσο εξοπλιστικό πρόγραμμα που υλοποιεί η Ελλάδα.

«Πληροφορούμαι από Αμερική», γράφει ο Νίκος Στέφος, «ότι τελικά μόνο μαχητικά Rafale θα πάρουμε από τη Γαλλία.
»Αεροσκάφη 4+ γενιάς, τρομερών δυνατοτήτων που είναι ο τρόμος και ο φόβος των αντιπάλων τους!!! »Η αγορά όμως των φρεγατών [email protected] ματαιώνεται…

»Ο πρωθυπουργός επέλεξε να μην προχωρήσει σε μονομερείς αγορές όπλων και οπλικών συστημάτων που είναι και πανάκριβα και θα αργήσει η αγορά τους. »Οι ανάγκες των Ενόπλων μας Δυνάμεων είναι ΑΜΕΣΕΣ και δεν χωρούν καθυστέρηση.

Φρεγάτες MMSC Διαβάζουμε από το έγκριτο doureios.com/Σάββας Δ. Βλάσσης

Το πρόγραμμα φρεγατών ναυάγησε λόγω κυοφορουμένης πολιτικής αποφάσεως για ανάθεση του σχετικού έργου στις ΗΠΑ. Η ανατροπή επήλθε μετά την υποβολή προτάσεως από την αμερικανική Lockheed Martin πέρυσι το καλοκαίρι για πρόγραμμα 4 φρεγατών MMSC, που προβλέπει ναυπήγηση 3 εξ αυτών στην Ελλάδα. Το πλεονέκτημα της χρηματοδοτήσεως διά της οδού των FMS, είναι κάτι που δεν μπορεί να αγνοηθεί. Η πρόταση σχετίζεται με συνεργασία με την αμερικανική ΟΝΕΧ Shipyards η οποία απέκτησε προσφάτως τον έλεγχο της Ναυπηγικές & Βιομηχανικές Επιχειρήσεις Ελευσίνας (ΝΒΕΕ ΑΕ) και θα αναλάβει το ναυπηγικό σκέλος στην Ελλάδα.

Σε γενικές γραμμές, η αμερικανική πρόταση προβλέπει την παράδοση της πρώτης φρεγάτας στο εύλογο χρονικό διάστημα της διετίας από την ανάθεση συμβάσεως, με τις επόμενες να ακολουθούν στα ναυπηγεία Ελευσίνος. Δέλεαρ στην περίπτωση, αποτελεί η πρόταση “ενδιάμεσης λύσεως” διά της παραχωρήσεως τουλάχιστον 2 μεταχειρισμένων φρεγατών LCS κλάσεως FREEDOM, που ήδη υπηρετούν στο Ναυτικό των ΗΠΑ.

Μια άλλη διάσταση του αμερικανικού ενδιαφέροντος, είναι η παράλληλη ανάθεση στην Lockheed Martin του προγράμματος Εκσυγχρονισμού Μέσης Ζωής των 4 φρεγατών ΜΕΚΟ 200ΗΝ. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση, οι νέες φρεγάτες MMSC και οι εκσυγχρονισμένες ΜΕΚΟ 200, θα φέρουν κοινά συστήματα όπως ραντάρ TRS-4D AESA, Σύστημα Διαχείρισης Μάχης COMBATSS-21, ρυμουλούμενο σόναρ CAPTAS, εξασφαλίζοντας αξιόλογη ομοιοτυπία.

Ωστόσο, είναι προφανές ότι όπως και στην περίπτωση των γαλλικών φρεγατών, η πρόσκτηση των MMSC θα θέσει το ζήτημα σοβαρών συμβιβασμών από πλευράς προδιαγραφών. Το σκάφος των αμερικανικών φρεγατών κατασκευάζεται από κράμα αλουμινίου αντί για χάλυβα, το προωστήριο σκεύος περιλαμβάνει σύστημα υδροπροώσεως (waterjet) που δεν είναι ελκυστικό για το Πολεμικό Ναυτικό ενώ δεν υφίσταται σόναρ τρόπιδας.
